Where Young Enthusiasts Train to Excel In Competitive Mathematics
About MathGenius
MathGenius was established in 2012 after our founder's son discovered a passion for competitive mathematics. With no organized training program available, we created one. He went on to place first in State MathCounts twice and finished 7th nationally as an eighth grader — then, in 2017, won the national Who Wants to Be a Mathematician? competition.
We serve students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, grouped by ability through placement testing rather than grade or age. We generally accept students beginning in 4th grade, with rare exceptions for exceptional 3rd graders.
We are currently testing for the Spring 2026 semester. Contact Lori@mathgeni.us to schedule your placement test.
